“What did those poor animals do before the shelter?” Prior to MAPS, homeless animals had very poor outcomes. Today, our impact is significant.

Neglect and abuse. We all know it happens to innocent animals every day. Unfortunately, we have seen our share of it at MAPS this year.

KITTENS, KITTENS, KITTENS! It happens every year like clockwork. EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR. Our phone rings off the hook and emails and messages pour in daily.

We often get the question: “Why don’t you have more dogs?” My answer is: “Not having dogs is a good thing. It means less dogs need our help”.

The Safer At Home Order on March 23 began a series of events like no other. The way we lived our daily lives changed and we, like many businesses, had to adapt.
